Meet Amber Bimm, the Heart Behind Grounded Mindsets

I started gymnastics at a young age, and while the sport gave me strength and discipline, it also came with struggles around mental health, pressure, and perfectionism. After I stopped competing, I leaned into coaching gymnasts myself, and supporting them not only in skill development, but also in building confidence and resilience. That experience planted the seeds of my passion for helping others grow in authentic and sustainable ways.

Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: gymnastics coach, mental health advocate, educator and facilitator, but the thread connecting them all has been creating spaces where people feel safe to show up as themselves. With a Bachelor of Health Sciences from Western University and a Master of Education from the University of Toronto, I’ve combined research, education, wellness, and lived experience to shape Grounded Mindsets into what it is today.

Grounded Mindsets was born out of my own journey of moving through disconnection, toxic positivity, and the weight of “shoulds”. It’s the space I wish I had when I felt most lost. My mission is simple: to help others put down deeper roots, reconnect with who they truly are and lead lives that feel authentically their own.
